Migrating your broadband service away from Madasafish

1. How do I get a MAC from Madasafish?

There's two ways you can ask us for one:

  1. Phone us on: 0845 140 6002. Lines are open every weekday (except Bank Holidays) between 9.00am-5.30pm.
  2. Write to us at:

We'll then tell you:

  • Your MAC Key
  • How long you can use the key to move to a new provider
  • Which broadband service the key will let you move

Don't worry about having to remember all this information when we give it you. We'll add it to a Ticket on your account so you've got it handy.

Note: we can't reply to cancellation requests made by Ticket. Please contact our Customer Options team on the telephone number above who will be able to deal with your query.

2. How long does it take to get a MAC?

Once you've asked us for a MAC we'll provide one within a maximum of 5 working days.

3. What should I do on receiving a MAC?

On receiving a MAC from us, you should give it to your new service provider. This will allow them to provide you with their broadband service.

4. How long does a MAC last for?

A MAC lasts for 30 days from the day we generate it. You should contact us, if you fail to use your MAC before its expiry.

5. Is there a limit to the number of times I can request a MAC?

You can ask for a MAC as many times as you want - provided you've already asked for one and it has already expired. We are not able to issue a new MAC when a valid MAC already exists. The automated MAC email will include your MAC and its expiry date; you will need to move to your new provider prior to the expiry date.

6. What should I do if I have any questions?
